I took some time to read up on Stripe, and what stood out was your revamp of the Dashboard and the design posts on the new payments onboarding. It looks like a good moment to join, and I am keen to put my product design experience to work as the team takes that on.
After reading the job description, I understand that your three critical needs for this role are owning end-to-end product design from problem to launch, shaping product direction with PMs and engineers and validating designs with data and experiments. Those decide whether a design hire works out, and I have real results behind each one.
On owning end-to-end product design from problem to launch, my toolkit is problem framing, prototyping and visual design. As a Product Designer at Notion, I owned taking a payments feature from a rough problem statement to a launched flow used by thousands of teams. Beyond that, I reframed a messy onboarding into three clear steps that cut drop-off by a third.
For shaping product direction with PMs and engineers, I rely on product strategy, roadmap input and design critique. During my time as a Product Designer at Notion, I handled partnering with a PM to reshape a quarter of roadmap around what research kept surfacing.
On validating designs with data and experiments, I bring A/B testing, analytics and usability testing. As a Product Designer at Notion, I took on running an experiment that settled a long design debate with real numbers. Alongside that, I built a metrics dashboard the design team now checks before and after every launch.
