Dear HashiCorp Talent Acquisition team,
I would like to apply for the Technical Product Manager role you have posted on your careers page. My focus these past few years has been technical product management, and I would be glad to bring that to your team.
Ahead of writing I read about HashiCorp, and what stood out was your push toward a unified platform and the engineering write-ups your team keeps publishing on designing APIs developers actually enjoy. This looks like a strong time to join, and I would gladly put my technical product management experience to work there.
Reading the posting, the three needs that stand out most are technical roadmap and API strategy, architecture tradeoffs with engineering and developer experience and platform metrics. Those decide whether a technical PM works out, and I have real results behind each.
On technical roadmap and API strategy, my daily tools are API design, system design and roadmaps. As a Technical Product Manager at Cloudflare, I handled owning the public API roadmap that grew third-party integrations 40 percent. Beyond that, I wrote the technical specs engineering built the platform from.
For architecture tradeoffs with engineering, I rely on SQL, dashboards and technical specs. During my time as a Technical Product Manager at Cloudflare, I took on sitting with engineering on architecture tradeoffs and calling the build-versus-buy on a core service.
On developer experience and platform metrics, I bring developer experience, docs and platform metrics. Working as a Technical Product Manager at Cloudflare, I owned reworking the onboarding docs so time-to-first-API-call dropped by half. Beyond that, I grew platform adoption 30 percent by clearing the top developer pain points.
I would be glad to walk through this in an interview and show why I fit. I am ready to sit between engineering and the business and turn hard technical calls into a roadmap that ships, and to grow with the team.
I would be glad to find a time to talk.
Yours sincerely,
