Why use a technical resume writing service

The number of applicants per role has tripled (from 100 in 2021 to 300 in 2026). Your competition also got better, because of big tech layoffs at Meta, Microsoft, Google, etc.

That said, there’s a huge opportunity if you pass resume screens. It’s the biggest bottleneck: 97% of applications get rejected but you have a 10% chance of getting an offer when interviewing.

That’s why investing in your resume gets you a much better ROI than bulk applying on LinkedIn.

To win consistently, your resume needs to be optimized for a recruiter’s eyes. It’s not magic. Most recruiter screens follow the same methodology and reasoning.

I built a method for resume writing based on 14+ years of insider knowledge. As a technical resume writer, I use my “cheatsheet” to help you land your next job faster.

I write for everyone in tech: Software Developers, Data Scientists & AI/ML Engineers, Cloud & DevOps Engineers, Infra & IT, as well as Product and Program Managers.

A recruiter screen, but with feedback

You applied to hundreds of jobs: no result. Companies won’t give you feedback, so you’re stuck in a loop. Rejections will keep coming until you know what’s wrong.

Let’s break this cycle today!

I’ll screen your resume the same way I did at Google.

You’ll get:

  • Your resume sections and content scored.
  • A clear list of what to improve, why, and how.
  • Behind the scenes secrets on the screening process.

Why your resume isn’t working

Writing about yourself is hard. You looked for advice on Reddit, read blogs, asked Claude or ChatGPT…
everyone says something different and it’s confusing.

It’s even worse, because now you’ve got a new list of questions.

A resume writing service focused on technical content

By Techies, For Techies

Fancy templates, cool AI tools, and generic resume services don't understand what you do, so they stay surface-level.

Pretty words that lack intention won’t get you results.
Recruiters only care about the depth of your content.
If you’re in tech, your resume writer should be code-literate.

Resume writing should be a technical discussion about:

  • Architecture, Design Patterns and Coding Principles
  • Specific tech stacks and engineering techniques
  • Software Delivery frameworks and methodologies.

You need an insider to get in

Resume writing is marketing. You can’t sell yourself without knowing your target audience: recruiters. But how could you without being a recruiter yourself?

As a former Google recruiter, I used my insider knowledge to create a writing method that is...

  • Fully focused on content that gets recruiters to say “yes”.
  • Optimized for screens based on 14+ years of experience.
  • Tried, tested, and continuously improved on 1,200+ resumes.

Can you really beat that on your own? 😉

Your input is the center of the process

Most services are "one and done". I think it should be a collaborative process that allows for a conversation.

I write using Google Doc, and I use comments to discuss specific points with you and get your feedback.
This way, your resume gets all the attention it needs.

  • You provide your requirements and resume
  • I rewrite it entirely + add suggestions and questions.
  • I finalize based on your input.
  • Most packages include unlimited revisions.

Getting you hired

This resume service isn't about designing a beautiful resume.
It's about writing one that actually gets you hired.
Here are emails from a few clients who landed jobs recently!

4 callbacks + 1 offer in 1 week

J. was targeting a L5 Support Systems Engineer role (as a L4). She was struggling to condense her 11 years of experience into a two-page resume that clearly communicated her value while removing irrelevant content. She also found it challenging to articulate metrics (specifically proving the direct financial or operational impact of her “reactive” support work).

What I did

  • Added content about end-to-end delivery, distributed systems, and infrastructure management.
  • Used her raw data (a “brain dump”) to organize, select and add technical details.
  • Positioned her as a technical leader rather than just a support engineer to cover the seniority gap.
I had four companies interested within about a week of us working together. And as of yesterday, I have an offer that I’m going to accept.
  • Senior Support Systems Engineer
  • 4callbacks
  • 1 weekresults
  • 1 offeraccepted

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Free Resume Review

Yes, and it’s completely free of charge! Get the FREE Review and you'll receive a detailed assessment of where your resume currently stands and how it can be improved.

First, I screen your resume as a tech recruiter. Then I send it back to you as a Google doc with a grading and detailed assessment of each section, list of what is missing and recommendations to improve it.

Writing Process & Timeline

1. First version (4 business days): I rewrite your resume in Google Docs using an ATS-friendly format, improve every bullet, and add placeholders with tailored suggestions so we can deepen the content. Missing role-specific areas are also added and flagged for your review.
2. You provide input: You update placeholders or leave comments. There’s no time limit (take the time you need.)
3. Final version (1-2 business days): I finalize the resume based on your input. Unlimited revisions are included in Climb The Ladder and above (not in Break Into Tech). Add-ons like LinkedIn or Cover Letters are delivered with the final version.

The first version is delivered within 4 business days (or 1 business day if you choose the Power Move package). After you provide your input, the final version (and each revision after that) is delivered within 1 (max. 2) business days.

Absolutely. You’ll get one free round of revisions with the Break Into Tech package, and unlimited revisions for 30 days with Climb the Ladder or Power Move.

All resumes I write are ATS compliant, which mostly means that text content is parseable. There's a lot of misinformation online about ATS, mostly from companies trying to sell you products. If you want to read more about ATS Optimization, I explain how it works in this article. Review

I will rewrite your resume entirely to optimize every single sentence, because there is specific information (and a high degree of detail) that Recruiters & Hiring Managers want to see for each specific position. I write based on Role Profiles, which are checklists recruiters use to assess a resume.

I do. Most of the resumes I receive do not cover everything Recruiters & Hiring Managers want to see. I know exactly what's expected, so I'll write this content for you, and make sure to get your input so that it is accurate.

Add-ons & Options

Yes! LinkedIn optimization is included in the Climb the Ladder and Power Move packages. You will get a checklist to follow with actions to take, as well as custom content written specifically for your LinkedIn profile (including job content and a Profile Summary), which you will be able to copy and paste. This way, you won't have to provide your login credentials.

Of course! A cover letter is included in both the Climb the Ladder and Power Move packages. It can target either a specific type of role (for example "DevOps Engineer") so that you can re-use it, or I can write one for a specific job opening.

The Job Search Spreadsheet is an application tracker to organize your applications, follow-ups, and responses. It also includes a list of 5,000+ companies, with direct link to their career pages, Wikipedia page, and Glassdoor (reviews, interview questions, etc...) so you can save time during your job search. It’s included in Climb the Ladder and Power Move.
