Dear BrowserStack Talent Acquisition team,
I would like to apply for the QA Engineer role you have posted on your careers page. My focus these past few years has been quality assurance, and I would be glad to bring that to your team.
Ahead of writing I read about BrowserStack, and what stood out was your cross-browser testing grid and the QA write-ups your team keeps publishing on flaky-test triage. This looks like a strong time to join, and I would gladly put my quality assurance experience to work there.
Reading the posting, the three needs that stand out most are test automation and frameworks, manual and exploratory testing and CI integration and quality gates. Those decide whether a QA hire works out, and I have real results behind each.
On test automation and frameworks, my daily tools are Selenium, Playwright and test automation. As a QA Engineer at Atlassian, I handled building the automated regression suite that runs on every pull request. Beyond that, I cut the manual test cycle from two days to a couple of hours.
For manual and exploratory testing, I rely on exploratory testing, test cases and bug triage. During my time as a QA Engineer at Atlassian, I took on catching a checkout-breaking bug in exploratory testing before release.
On CI integration and quality gates, I bring CI pipelines, quality gates and reporting. Working as a QA Engineer at Atlassian, I owned wiring the test suite into CI so nothing merges without passing. Beyond that, I raised release confidence with quality gates the whole team trusts.
I would be glad to walk through this in an interview and show why I fit. I am ready to keep your releases green and catch the bugs before your users do, and to grow with the team.
I would be glad to find a time to talk.
Yours sincerely,
